Formation
Any young woman desiring to be a Sister of the Most Holy Soul of Christ between the ages of 18 and 30 is invited.
There are four steps of religious formation:
- Postulate -- a period of 6 month to 2 years for the purpose of making the transition from life in the secular world to the religious life.
- Novitiate -- a period of two years of novitiate to help young woman grow in their love for Christ as they learn about the nature of the vows and religious life.
- Temporary Vows -- a profession by the Sister to the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience to God for one year, and renewal of their vows one year at a time for five years or longer depending on their readiness to vow perpetually.
- Perpetual Vows -- a dedication of the Sisters to God and to the Congregation for the entire life in their profession of perpetual vows
